group Tambours
69
participated on Saturday, February
9th, 2013
(see
the article) in
a day of training organized in Saint-Just
d'Avray ( 69 ) by the Grouping of Three Valleys,
connected with the Musical Federation of the
Rhône. Several of us assured the master-class
for twelve drummers, coming from four bands.
There was, jointly, a Flutes and a Trumpets
classes. photo

Concert, in Theizé, ended the day.
The eight Tambours
69

made a high quality performance, concretizing
the increasing cohesion of the group and the
working sum of each one. This also had an
educational purpose intended for Drummers
and to their managers. Not to lengthen this
Concert, a narrow, but dynamic and varied
program, had been planned, is: entered on
Six Six-Quatre-Deux (in July 14th), then a part of Fantaisie
Percutante, the Retraites roulées,
Clin d'oeil, the Train, and a Medley of Rigodons
with the two Rigodons of Raynaud and of course
the Duel. photo

2012,
preparation
A
first meeting took place, between the Fifres
Roannais and
some members of Tambours
69, on Sunday,
June 17th, to
make presentations in common. Some pieces
were tested, the others are going to be. This
so rare, instrumental association in France
(non-existent in our region), that interesting
and pleasant, motivate at the same time Fifes
and Drummers. This is the creation of Timbres
et Clés.
2011 and
2012, actions
On
Sunday, April 3rd, 2011,
the branch culture of Copler (Community of
the municipalities of the canton of Saint-Symphorien-de-lay,
in the Loire district) introduced a morning
"Make Music" with the cooperation
of the intermunicipal Music school and of
five musical Associations of the canton. The
persons in charge of these various structures
now understood the necessity of working together
in the same direction. Four workshops to discover
different instruments worked: percussions,
natural brass instruments, chromatic brass
instruments, the other winds. Meanwhile, a
local harmony proceeded to a public training
session. The workshop percussion received
a drum kit, Cuban percussions, and the Drum.
Luc and Philippe Vignon, for the band l'Independante
de Chirassimont, assured the animation and
allowed to make glimpse and try the Drum to
thirty five children. All the participants
appreciated this initiative and wished that
it reproduces, by turning in various villages
of the canton. photo
On
Sunday, April 1st, 2012,
the demonstration "Make Music" was
thus renewed inNeulise, with the workshops
of discovery of instruments. An animation
of street followed, with the cooperation of
four musical Associations. Two of them, the
Harmony of Saint-Just-la-Pendue and the band
"Indépendante of Chirassimont",
in addition with the Professors, interpreted
in common "Rhône-Alpes" (see
pdf) (listen
mp3) supervised by Céline Vivier-Merle,
manager of the intermunicipal Music school.
A concert by the Professors closed this musical
