Nine
Drummers of the Music School du Canton de
Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset, belonging to
six musical associations, participated, on
2008 June 13th and 14th evening, in the biennial
concerts of the Choir La Soleillée,
having eighty members, under the musical direction
of Bernadette Passelegue, and the responsibility
of Michel Passelegue. The choice for this
time was : Revolt, Freedom, Hope. The collaboration
with the Drum since seamed obvious, even if
it surprised of course a large part of people.
Personal work, in order to offer a various
and enough high program, the entertainments,
to perfect the parts with the Choir, accompaniments
on the recorded tape, the regulating for the
sound volume, the displacements of the Drummers,
the fittings of costumes : all that was rather
heavy. Nonetheless, the nine present and chosen
Drummers, which had consisted of the importance
of event, were faithful to their commitment,
with an always real will, a conscience, a
good mood. They were rewarded for it by memory
to have participated in two closed in advance
Concerts, and contentment that the members
of the chorus, their leaders and the public
qualify our performance as particularly professional.
